As a coordination team, the Disability Working Group plays a pivotal role in uniting efforts and fostering collaboration for inclusive initiatives across northeast Nigeria.

The DWG will collaborate and work closely with all relevant existing sector and technical working groups, and relevant stakeholders to strengthen policy and practice on disability inclusion.

This will help to bring together a range of actors working in this space including UN agencies, national and international NGOs, Civil Society Organisations, Organisations of Person with Disabilities (OPDs), Private Sectors, and  government agencies to address the full spectrum of factors that impact people living with disabilities in northeast Nigeria.
